The following information is important as it relates to the carnival rides:
Children under 36 inches cannot ride any rides. (Children measuring 32-36 inches may ride the carousel with a paying adult.)
No casts.
No visible signs of a pre-existing injury.
No expecting mothers.
No food or drink.
No bare feet.
No intoxicated people.

Other important information:
Some rides require two people.
All rides have height and/or weight restrictions.
Some rides cannot operate in the rain or high winds.
Some rides may be closed for maintenance.
Check availability before purchase.
No refund or exchanges.
Ride tickets/coupons do not expire.

New rides for our 2011 Fair!

VERTIGO - The Vertigo has 12 swing seats that hold 24 people and lasts between two and three minutes, taking riders from the base to the top, with the swings spinning at a moderate speed, offering panoramic views of both the fairgrounds and the city. It's an experience that is nothing short of mind-blowing!

WIND SURFER - This ride, manufactured by Wisdom Industries, is the very first of it's kind and Butler Amusements is the first to own it! The Wind Surfer has eight cars each with a sail and a two person capacity seat. Each wing is controlled by the riders so the seat flies up and down. The center of the Wind Surfer tips and lifts to simulate the swooping action of Wind Surfing on ocean waves.

GOOFYVILLE - Goofyville is a walk-through adventure for kids. Complete with cargo nets for climbing, tunnels for crawling, obstacles for bouncing against, and a jump house to finish.

Some of the featured carnival rides!

The Himalaya requires 5 ride coupons and has a minimum height restriction of 50 inches.

 

 

The Moon Walker Funhouse requires 4 coupons and has a minimum height requirement of 36 inches (with an adult) or 42 inches if riding alone.

The Vortex requires 5 ride coupons and has a minimum height requirement of 48 inches whether riding alone or with an adult.

 

Super Shot Drop Tower was one of the new rides in 2007 and will again be coming our way for 2010! This 5-coupon ride has a minimum height requirement of 48 inches.

All rides have height requirements that are for your safety and your child's safety. Height requirements range from 36" to 57".

Each Butler ride, including kiddie rides, will require 3-5 coupons.

Carnival wristbands which allow for unlimited rides are available for the discounted price of $22 if purchased in advance (August 15th through September 22nd).

Once the Fair is underway, carnival wristbands are still available to purchase on the midway for $25 or $30 each, depending on what day you purchase. Tuesday through Friday wristbands are $25; Saturday/Sunday/Monday wristbands are $30. (Monday is also Franz Bread Day but for those that don't have the empty bread sack with label, wristbands are sold separately for $30.)
