A Walk on the Wild Side is the most diverse exotic animal refuge of its kind in the State of Oregon. They are dedicated to helping all species of wild animals who, for various reasons, find themselves without a place to live out their lives. They are an animal rescue and preservation establishment, not a sanctuary.

A Walk on the Wild Side houses unwanted exotic species and prides themselves in educating the public about responsible animal ownership. The ambassador animals attend numerous public events every year, each one with its own story to tell and own lessons to teach. Each of the visiting animals were all facing an uncertain future before being adopted by our facility.
