2013 Fair Theme Announced!

Fair lovers - YES! We are doing our February special once again.

Season Passes for the 2013 Fair will be available beginning February 1. Sale ends on February 28. Several ways to purchase.

1. Come in person to our State Fair Park Ticket Office, 1301 S. Fair Avenue, Yakima, between Feb. 1 and Feb. 28.

You will have the option of sending us a digital photo this year or you can come to the SunDome (Sept. 16-Sept. 19) to have your photo taken. Details provided at the time of purchase.

Special thanks to all of you that participated by bringing something special to share in hopes of winning that blue ribbon.

To the exhibitors in the SunDome and on the grounds, we hope you had success with your products or services.

To our food concessionaires, thanks for feeding our crowds! You're one of the main reasons people come to our Fair.

To Butler Amusements - thank you for bringing the fun rides and the best light show in town! It's a pleasure working with you.

We're proud of our Fair and thank everyone that came to our event. We hope you enjoyed our clean fairgrounds, our wonderful historic buildings and the park-like setting.

Most of all, we hope you have new memories to cherish with your family.

Pioneer Hall will be home to the Stage Nine Exhibit Design called "Hall of Heroes" for the 2013 Fair. This exhibit will focus on an immersive experience, placing visitors in the shoes of a super
hero. The exhibit will explore the ideals and circumstances that create super hero and push the boundary of what it means to be a super hero. "Hall of Heroes" will place visitors directly into the action by way of our most ambitious custom-built environments
ever built with a plethora of surprises around each corner.

"Hall of Heroes" will include a usual mix of various interactive stations, educational zones, photo opportunities, rare artifacts, costume character and celebrity appearances, and artfully- designed themed environments.

Leap Year Season Pass Info!
Season Passes were sold during the month of February only. For those of you that purchased, please read information below. This same information is inside the envelope that you received at the time you purchased your pass.

PHOTOS (Two options this year!):
Option 1) You will be able to email your digital picture to us prior to September 12. Instructions will be in each envelope at the time of purchase as to how to submit your own digital photo. OR

Option 2) Photos will be taken in the west concourse of the SunDome. See Photo ID schedule below. We encourage you to have your photos taken as early in the week as possible to avoid long lines.

VOICE of the FAIR

Meet Louise Adams. When you hear this pleasant voice over the PA System, you'll understand why she's known as the Lady with the Golden Voice. If you've attended high school sporting events in the SunDome, you've most likely heard Louise. Welcome to the 2011 Fair, Louise!

Mommy Zone & Toddler Town

Nursing mothers and mothers of toddler-age children will enjoy
an area located in the Valley Building (Coastal's Fair Farm). A
quiet area with rocking chairs and changing table is available to take care of your wee ones. Toddler Town features things just for the toddler-age child. Get them out of their strollers and let them play in a safe, fenced area. You will LOVE Coastal's Fair Farm building!

The Many Sounds of the Ring-A-Ding Ding!

Many of you have walked past the Ring-A-Ding Ding and heard the little kids playing. Many adults and teens have played on it too. Imagine a professional drummer tinkering around on it! Here's your chance to hear what a real drummer can do on the RADD. Our 2008 Fair TV commercials feature the Ring-A-Ding Ding in the background.
